Cluster buying
Also called insiders buying together
Several insiders of the same company each buying shares in the open market within a short period.
How does Whalegun define a cluster?
One insider's purchase may have a personal reason; several officers and directors each spending their own money at about the same time is a record worth a closer look.
Whalegun groups open-market purchases (code P) by two or more insiders of the same company within 7 days. The trade page states how many bought within the week.
The insider list's tab of stocks bought together shows the latest clusters by stock.
