Summary

BIS eases export controls on certain civil UAVs and related technologies. From January 20, 2026, some commercial UAVs may be exported to most countries without a license, and certain long-range cargo and agricultural spraying drones may be exported to certain U.S. partners and allies under License Exception STA.
