The USTR invokes the USMCA Rapid Response Labor Mechanism and asks Mexico to review whether workers at Modern Metal Alloys in Querétaro are being denied freedom of association and collective bargaining. The US has suspended liquidation of tariffs on goods from the MMA facility, and Mexico has 10 days to agree to review and 45 days from today to complete it if it agrees.
