President Trump imposes additional 50% tariffs on certain goods of Canada under Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930, taking effect 30 days after signing. The tariffs apply regardless of USMCA status and do not apply to energy, potash, Section 232 goods, and certain other items such as fish or critical minerals.
