Summary

The USTR announces a Section 301 action against Nicaragua over labor rights, human rights, and rule-of-law issues. Starting January 1, 2026, tariffs on all imported Nicaraguan goods not originating under CAFTA-DR begin at 0%, then rise to 10% on January 1, 2027 and 15% on January 1, 2028.
